Caring Hands Wish Tree
Caring Hands is hosting a Wish Tree for our residents. By Friday, December 8, a holiday tree with gift tags will be placed in the dining room area. Friends, family, and staff are invited to take a tag and purchase a gift for a resident on the back. Gifts will be given out at the December 18 December Christmas program. If you wish to donate, please take a gift tag and fill out the donor form.

Caring Hands wishes to extend our residents, families, friends, volunteers, entertainers, and staff a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for a safe, peaceful, and happy 2025. We wouldn’t be able to provide extra special care without your care and support.
Due to medical related issues, Tony Prestby one of our Activities staff will be out until early January. He is fine and just needs to be away from large groups to ensure that he remains well enough to return. He has been told that all of the residents are praying for his speedy recovery and wishes you all a wonderful holiday.
In the interim, Lynn will be working Monday through Friday from 9-4pm and there will be no Saturday activities until Tony returns and the calendar can return to it’s normal schedule.

A Big thank you to Jim Dietz who helped Caring Hands get the new Electronic Care Profession system up and running. Jim is a whiz at technology and this new system will greatly benefit resident care plans. Also, Tom and Sharon wish to thank Mary Dietz and Monica Holtz who were so instrumental and worked tirelessly on this critical project as well.
