A heartfelt “Thank you” to all who donated gifts for our annual resident Wish Tree program. We had a wonderful party where residents received their gifts and all were extremely grateful for the generosity! They wanted to express their sincere thanks for making their holidays bright and appreciate especially the gift of love expressed through these presents! Reminder: Please check the front desk for any miscellaneous bills or mail for your loved one that you wanted saved for you to pick up.
Introducing GAME Tournaments
Beginning in February, Caring Hands will be hosting game tournaments for several of our weekly games:
Wheel of Fortune, Rummy, Dominoes, Crazy 8’s, Yahtzee, Sequence, Sheepshead, Bingo
We will put the various games in each weeks’ activities on the calendar and invite all residents to participate. A record of the weekly game winners will be kept and at the end of February, those who have won the most at each game for the month will receive a prize! While Lynn and Tony may play at these games, they will not be eligible for the prizes. It’s going to be a LOT of fun. You are not mandated to play each week; however winners will be those who participate to the fullest extent and who are the highest scorers of each of the games. Residents are eligible to win at more than one game, for example Yahtzee an Dominoes, Sequence and Bingi, etc. We will be distributing a flyer with information and rules during the month of January! Let the games BEGIN!!!
